Hush Club - A Sound Healing Experiment with Beccy Owen [SOLD OUT]

A rare chance to ‘dwell’ in a kind of no-touch musical 'hug' offered to you by singer-songwriter and trained sound healer Beccy Owen. This session will be an informal and intimate space for people to come and gently unwind. Designed for everyone, but especially good for those of us who struggle to meditate (but would like to reap the benefits!), Hush Club is an immersive and improvised ‘sonic bath’ of various tonal frequencies, soothing sounds and lullabies from a variety of traditions. It is a very real chance for you to set down your stress, absorb what's on offer without anything being asked of you, and to find some respite and rest from this chaotic existence!

Anna Knight - Community Support
Anna is a coach, trauma survivor and an activist. She supports people to move beyond their past experiences, breaking cycles of self-doubt and criticism to change their lives (and maybe even the world) with ease, authenticity and joy. As a queer, disabled survivor of domestic violence, she has experienced various forms of trauma and her coaching aims to support other people in their own journeys of recovery.
Her work is centred in the concept of ‘the audacious and’. So often, we see ourselves as a series of positives and negatives, leading to a complex calculation of our value and therefore what we can achieve. If we swap this approach for one that sees us as a series of ever expanding ‘ands’, we begin to see ourselves as limitless and then what we once saw as weaknesses and flaws become potential avenues for social revolution.
Anna will be on hand if anything gets to much for you within the session, and you feel like you need a time out.
