Decksercise with Sasha Vion & DJ Hollie

Join us for the opening of our pride week Sasha Vion Personal Training. Music will be provided by a live DJ set from DJ Hollie. Doors open at 18:30 and the class starts at 18:45 prompt.
This will be a fun circuit training class of full body bodyweight exercises, with alternatives for people with reduced mobility.
”I run my Personal training business here in Newcastle.I am French / Caribbean and I arrived in Newcastle 2 and a half years ago. I have been into sports for as far as I can remember. Giving Fitness classes and becoming a Personal Trainer came from my desire to help people feel better about themselves through moving more, building strength, confidence and getting healthier. I also work as a Model in an agency here in Newcastle.
Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am very excited to take part in this project. Join us. Get ready to get moving and have fun!

North East born vinyl only DJ Hollie grew up listening to Northern Soul and Tamla Motown at a very early age and has been a constant on the North East music scene for many years. She was heavily inspired by her time living in London and Brighton, with multiple gigs and residencies. She is currently a resident DJ at Hoochie Coochie.
With banging sets of funky disco, house and dance, Hollie is a welcome addition to this class.

Decksercise with Azula Bandit & DJ Awkward Black Girl

Join Azula Bandit for a Twerk movement and dance class. This will be fun session for all abilities, with uplifting music and intense energy, guaranteed to get you you moving. Entry from at 19:45 and the class start at 20:00 prompt.
Music will be provided by a live DJ set from DJ Awkward Black Girl.
Azula Bandit is South African Artist, who grew up in Newcastle from the age of 5. Mostly known for their dance skills, twerk business “Bounce with Bandit” Azula is a multidisciplinary Artist with a range of skills across the Art forms. With their current progression and focus on DJing Azula is on their way to becoming a top class entertainer.
DJ Awkward Black Girl lives for playing a multi-genre set with a mix of RnB, Soul, Funk, Garage, Hip Hop, Disco, Electro, Dance, Rock and more. Expect a nostalgic party vibe with a contemporary twist.
DJ ABG is the founder of the DJ collective @spin.city.crew and queer party @bend.shakencl.
